Finsbury Circus, EC2M
The Workspace Group wanted to create a flexible alternative to traditional workspaces with stylish offices and shared spaces and instructed the Open team to deliver an office refurb. We were delighted to be appointed as main contractor to turn our client’s vision for this landmark Grade II listed building into a reality. This was a comprehensive office refurbishment project involving three wings and a number of ancillary suites within this listed building.

The level of workmanship was very high and the units looked great. All the challenges along the way have been met with teamwork, commercial awareness and collaboration.”

This office refurb project required careful planning to ensure that people working elsewhere in the building weren’t affected by the works.
The office refurb brief was to install new services, including a major data riser and backbone installation as well as air conditioning system to each of the areas being refurbished, multiple tea points and break-out areas.
We laid solid hardwood floors, added feature ceramic tiling and built tea points and WCs. New task and feature lighting were installed, creating a light, airy, engaging workspace. The six floors of the Salisbury House were then divided into individual offices and breakout areas using bespoke crittall style glazed partitions – letting in more light and making a distinctive design statement.
This high-quality office refurb finishes combined with our attention to detail created a variety of office and collaborative spaces that perfectly complement the existing character of this prestigious building.
