What information do we collect from you?
We collect three kinds of information from visitors to this website and via email: queries and feedback about existing or potential projects; enquiries from people interested in working with us and site usage information.
Personal information that we collect from you on our website, if you sign up for our newsletter or comment on a post, includes your name and email address. If you are a supplier then we will hold your bank details and will share these with our external accountants who manage our accounts and process payment transactions.
We also collect other information such as page access information and location through Google Analytics. Google Analytics retains user data for 14 months after the last access.
The access data is collected through something called Log files. These record basic data about visitors’ use of the site, which we analyse and use to make changes to the structure and content of our website. Log files do not contain any personal information and they are not used to identify any individual patterns of use.
We may hold other information about you on our systems for as long as necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with us. We are legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil our statutory obligations.
How can I update or access my personal information?
At Open, we always want the information we hold on you to be accurate and up-to-date. If you change your email address or phone number and wish to notify us or even just want to check how accurate our information is please contact us either by email email@example.com or call us on +44 (0) 20 7240 7711.
Who has access to your information?
Information provided via this website or by email will only be used by someone in the Open team (unless you are otherwise notified).
We may pass your information to selected third parties, for example, our subcontractors, for the purposes of completing projects or providing services to you. In this instance, we disclose only the information that is necessary to deliver the project or services, and we have a contract in place that requires them to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own direct marketing purposes.
We would only release your information to third parties beyond the above conditions if we are required to do so by law, for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime.
We will never:
- sell or rent your information to third parties;
- share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We only accept CVs when they are submitted as part of an application for a specific, advertised vacancy. These will be retained for a period of up to six months following the recruitment campaign and then deleted. The successful applicant’s relevant information will then be retained as part of their employment contract.
Any speculative CVs sent through either by recruitment agencies or individuals will be deleted immediately.
